This theory holds that markets are perfect, that is, though one agent at a given time has inside information he may not have it always, so it is impossible for him to beat the market in the long run because market follows an intricate and inscrutable way.

However, just talking to some experienced brokers, speculators, traders all confirm that, although in small number, there are indeed some agents worldwide that consistently get a performance above the market`s performance. Whilst it is true that it is impossible for someone to get inside information systematically, then it follows that only can be achieved thanks to the ability to detect mathematical patterns.

Making implementation in the field of gambling, the classical theory states that it is impossible to win consistently. However, it is known that, although in amounts even more rare, there are, again on a global scale, some players able to win consistently over time in one or various games.

CONCLUSION

Therefore, as the price of a financial asset, post-modern mathematics has shown that the gambling results also follow certain stochastic patterns that can be identified and recognized.
